Construction Superintendent – South Florida

$125,000 Base + FWW OT Premium + Mileage

Our client is a well-established South Florida General Contractor with a strong track record delivering high-end hospitality, luxury hotels, restaurants, retail and commercial projects across the region.

They are looking to add a Superintendent to their growing team, with opportunities for experienced Superintendents as well as strong Assistant Superintendents ready to take the next step in their career.

The Role

You will take ownership of construction projects from start through completion, working closely with the Project Manager, subcontractors, architects, owners and wider project team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing day-to-day site operations and subcontractors
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules
  • Coordinating trades and ensuring work progresses to programme
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications and project documentation
  • Managing inspections and ensuring work meets required standards
  • Maintaining strong quality control and site safety
  • Coordinating with Project Managers and other stakeholders
  • Managing project logistics and resolving issues on site
  • Tracking progress and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to specification
  • Leading projects through completion, punch list and turnover

  • Tenant improvements
  • Ground-up commercial construction

What We’re Looking For

We’re particularly interested in candidates with 4+ years of commercial construction experience, including experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent or similar field leadership position.

Experience in hospitality, hotels, restaurants, retail, commercial interiors or tenant improvements is highly desirable.

Strong Assistant Superintendents with the ambition to step into a full Superintendent position are also encouraged to apply.

Package

  • $125,000 base salary
  • FWW overtime premium for hours worked over 40 per week
  • Mileage reimbursement
  • Opportunity to take ownership of projects from start to finish

  • Career progression within an established South Florida GC

Local positions cover the South Florida tri-county area – Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.

There are also Traveling Superintendent opportunities available for candidates willing to work outside the South Florida tri-county area, with mileage, per diem and lodging provided.
