The role & about the client:  
 
On behalf of our client, ITS Building People (Southampton) are searching for an experienced Project Manager to join a Residential and Commercial construction company in the New Forest.

The successful Project Manager will be responsible for running 1-2 projects up to circa £4M value in total and will be a mixture of high end residential and commercial new builds and extensions.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • The Project Manager will have a keen eye for detail and be able to anticipate and minimise any disruption to the schedule of works.
  • You will be site based responsible for projects ranging from Bournemouth to Southampton ensuring the effective management of the site, the program and any risks that may cause issue.
  • Working in coordination with the Director you will oversee the management of 1 to and will report directly to the construction director and the managing director.
  • You will manage a family of sub-contractors that have an established record for delivering an outstanding level of service.
  • Despite operating under a traditional JCT contract you will coordinate heavily with the surveying and design team to mitigate any risk to the scheduled programmes that you have designed.
  • On a weekly basis you will report to the management team with a keen focus on customer satisfaction, commercial direction, and risk management.

The ideal candidate

  • Experience of delivering high end residential and commercial new builds and refurbishments
  • A keen eye for detail and high-quality finishes
  • A track record for delivering these types of projects
  • Excellent organisational & team management skills
  • Able to design and deliver demanding and complex refurbishment programmes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with people ls
  • Ability to multitask and deliver multiple projects
  • A valid driving licence
