Multi-Skilled Warehouse & Transport Operative

Location: Southampton Area
Pay: £12.71 – £13.00 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm (1 hour lunch)

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Multi-Skilled Warehouse & Transport Operative to join a busy and growing team.

This is a varied role that would suit someone with experience in driving, route planning, and warehouse operations. Experience planning deliveries into London and surrounding areas would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and routing daily deliveries
  • Driving company vehicles when required
  • Coordinating transport schedules and customer deliveries
  • Assisting with goods in and stock control
  • Picking and packing orders during quieter periods
  • Supporting the warehouse team as required
  • Maintaining accurate delivery and transport records

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous driving and transport planning experience
  • Good geographical knowledge, particularly of London routes (preferred)
  • Warehouse experience, including goods in and order picking
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to help across different departments
  • A full UK driving licence
