Our client, a leading main contractor in the construction industry, is on the lookout for a Junior Construction Project Manager with a strong carpentry background. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on professional ready to transition into project management within the commercial, education and health sectors.

Your Role:
- Assist in the planning and execution of commercial fit-out and extension projects
- Work alongside site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations
- Interpret and work with construction drawings and specifications
- Conduct site inspections, ensuring quality control and project compliance
- Ensure all health & safety regulations are met
- Manage materials, workforce scheduling, and project timelines
- Use your carpentry expertise to provide technical guidance and problem-solving on-site
What We’re Looking For:
- A strong background in carpentry (trade qualification preferred)
- Exposure to or experience in project management within construction
- Experience in commercial fit-outs and extensions
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Computer literacy is a must
