What Does the Autumn 2024 Budget Mean for the Construction Sector?

It has been found that 1 in 4 people experience mental health issues, and every day we lose two people working in the Construction industry due to suicide. This is why we must take our role within the industry seriously and do everything we can to promote a positive working environment that helps everyone’s mental health.
We get involved in key initiatives, have elected company ambassadors, and provide mental health training options to ensure everyone can get involved. We connect with multiple colleges, employment schemes and organisations around the UK, engaging with young people seeking to get a start in Construction and helping provide all of the information and guidance they may need to start their first role.
Because of this, we work with construction-based mental health charities and initiatives to understand the impact mental health can have on people in the industry. We strive to make the workplace a supportive environment for everyone to feel safe in and are constantly looking for ways to improve this.

The ITS team understand that while raising awareness is important, recognising and helping others is the key to a healthy workplace. Therefore, we proudly participate in fundraising days to support our nominated mental health charities, with our excellent team regularly raising funds and awareness in their own time.
