We are working in partnership with a highly respected building services contractor who design, install, and maintain full mechanical systems across a range of sectors, including commercial, healthcare, industrial and education.

Due to continued expansion, they are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their friendly and professional team in Bristol.

Role Overview:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all costs relating to projects from the initial calculations to the final figures. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered on budget and provide maximum value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
  • Performing cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
  • Assisting in establishing client requirements and undertaking feasibility studies
  • Monitoring and controlling project budgets and valuations
  • Managing subcontractor accounts and payments
  • Providing advice on contractual claims and procurement strategies
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and the wider project team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with standard forms of contract
  • Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying
