The role & about the client:
ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded high-end residential contractor based in Leatherhead. Known for delivering exceptional bespoke homes throughout Surrey and the Home Counties, this company has built a strong reputation for quality, attention to detail, and collaborative project delivery.
They are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a minimum of 10 years’ experience to take a leading commercial role across multiple projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, professional team delivering luxury residential schemes with high levels of design and specification.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Managing the commercial aspects of high-end residential projects from pre-construction through to final account
• Preparing and reviewing contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation
• Monitoring project costs, reporting variations, and managing risk
• Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and the internal delivery team
• Working under JCT contracts and Design & Build procurement routes
• Overseeing valuations, payments, and final accounts
• Supporting project teams to ensure commercial and financial success

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in quantity surveying within the residential construction sector
• Strong working knowledge of JCT contracts and Design & Build projects
• Proven experience delivering high-quality, bespoke residential developments
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and cost management skills
• A professional, collaborative approach and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
• Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline
