Our client, a highly respected provider of mechanical, electrical, and construction solutions, is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Sittingbourne.

• Location: Sittingbourne, with some remote working
• Salary: £65k – £75k per annum (DOE) + Excellent Benefits

Your Role:

• Oversee commercial responsibilities from contract award to final account
• Manage the estimating team and lead the commercial department
• Handle variations and contractual changes using Early Warning procedures
• Develop strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure profitable project outcomes
• Review pricing strategies and participate in tender reviews
• Take ultimate responsibility for subcontractor management
• Attend handover and progress meetings

What You’ll Need:

• Full UK driving licence
• BPSS security clearance (or eligibility)
• Experience as a QS or Assistant QS in the construction industry
• Knowledge of JCT, NEC3, or NEC4 contracts and framework agreements
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage and deliver variations while maintaining strong relationships
