Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join the team at a leading Fire & Security company based in Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various projects, with a key focus on overseeing all projects of one specific client. In addition to this the role will also involve managing several smaller fire and security-related projects. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a pivotal role in the successful delivery of key projects within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for one specific clients projects. Oversee a number of smaller fire and security projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the project. Regularly update clients on progress, resolve any issues, and ensure all expectations are met.
- Planning & Coordination: Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resources, and risk management strategies. Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of all project milestones.
- Budget Management: Ensure the projects are delivered within the agreed financial constraints. Track and control project costs, ensuring financial objectives are met and any issues are promptly addressed.
- Health & Safety: Ensure that all projects are compliant with health and safety regulations, and that safe working practices are adhered to throughout the project’s duration.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet the company’s high-quality standards and that work is carried out according to relevant codes of practice and industry regulations.
- Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the course of the project.
- Team Leadership: Manage a project team, providing leadership, direction, and support to ensure effective and efficient project delivery.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within the fire & security industry or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Experience in managing installation projects
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing teams and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk management procedures in a project context.
- Proficient in project management software and tools
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites within Hampshire.
