ITS are working with a well known, reputable groundworks company, who are working on a number of groundworks projects across the south. They are looking for an experienced, Health & Safety aware Project Manager for a residential project in Basingstoke.
The ideal candidate would hold:
- SMSTS
- First Aid
- Temporary Works (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in delivering groundworks packages on residential projects.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Groundworks project manager duties are to include, but aren’t limited to;
- Overseeing all site duties, ensuring works are done to a high quality standard within deadlines.
- Supervising site foremen, ensuring they are sticking to programme requirements and deadlines.
- Ensuring Health & Safety is top priority on site, logging all incidents and holding team toolbox talks regularly.
- Liasing with the client, updating on programme development and timelines.
- Liasing with company directors, updating them on progress, potential gaps in the workforce and cost control.
- Organising the delivery of materials to site in a timely manner.
