The role & about the company: ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of a leading development and construction company specializing in high-quality residential projects. They are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to oversee multiple projects across various locations.
This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and is committed to delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee all aspects of on-site construction, ensuring high standards, timely completion, and budget adherence.
  • Stay up to date with Part L requirements and implement them across projects.
  • Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain efficient workflows.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure all work adheres to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing project updates and addressing concerns.
  • Identify and resolve on-site issues quickly to minimize disruptions.
  • Provide regular progress reports, including cost updates, schedules, and potential risks.
  • Oversee multiple sites, ensuring smooth operations across all projects.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, with a strong track record of delivering projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks under pressure.
  • In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Proficiency in project management tools.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience working on all types of residential projects, including refurbishments and new builds.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability to unexpected challenges.
