The role & about the client:
ITS Building People are recruiting on behalf of an established and highly reputable air conditioning contractor for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer. Due to continued growth and an expanding client base, our client is looking to strengthen their engineering team with a motivated and professional individual who enjoys a varied role.
With over three decades of experience in the HVAC industry, the business delivers high-quality air conditioning solutions to a wide range of clients, including large commercial organisations, small businesses, and residential customers. Working with all leading manufacturers, they provide bespoke solutions tailored to client requirements and budgets.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who takes pride in their work, enjoys autonomy, and thrives in a team-focused environment.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Service, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential air conditioning systems
- Working on DX splits, VRF systems, chillers, and applied systems across multiple manufacturers
- Carrying out installation works
- Working independently and occasionally as part of a two-person team
- Covering the South East and London, with flexibility to travel further when required
- Maintaining a professional, polite, and customer-focused approach at all times
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- F-Gas qualified (essential)
- C&G / NVQ Level 2 (preferred)
- Strong service experience across commercial and residential air conditioning systems
- Good installation experience
- Sound electrical knowledge
- PASMA and First Aid (beneficial but not essential)
- Additional HVAC or building services skills (an advantage)
- Ideally based near Guildford / Dorking / Horsham, though candidates further afield will be considered
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
