Intermediate / Senior Engineer

Our client is looking for a Intermediate / Senior Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) to join their Operational Engineering team. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of this unique role and act as a key player to support the continued growth of this successful service.
Ideally you will be based in their Bristol or Birmingham office in order to cover a consistent pipeline of work across the Midlands and South-West regions. We undertake a lot of surveys and refurbishment projects within commercial office and industrial spaces for very high-profile clients, so you will get an exciting and varied workload from the get-go.
Responsibilities:
Undertaking Dilapidations reports
Producing pre-acquisition and disposal technical due diligence reports
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance CAPEX reports.
Management of projects and acting as project lead
Input into innovation; continual improvement of services and products
Supporting the wider teams providing technical support and maintenance management duties
Meet target KPIs on WIP management including HIW
Business Development and Client Care
About you:
Relevant engineering degree, inclusive of building services modules or equivalent education/practical experience
Excellent report writing and communication skills are required and the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues is essential.
Client facing with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience within a consultancy or from an M&E project engineering background.
Flexible and willing to cover a variety of work and travel to site across regions.
Knowledgeable in statutory compliance, regulations and standards relating to operational/existing building services.
Working knowledge of and ability to identify and provide professional advice for the following building services is essential:
o Electrical Distribution systems
o Ventilation systems including VAV, heat recovery etc.
o Heating systems including heat generation, distribution and terminal unit types.
