Working Foreman

- Salary & package dependant on experience: £250 a day CIS or PAYE.
The role & about the client:
On behalf of our client, ITS Building People are searching for an experienced Working Foreman to join an award winning, dynamic, and forward-thinking commercial sub-Contractor based in Hampshire & Dorset. Due to sustained and continuous growth as well as an order book stretching well past 2029, they are looking to add to their management team. The successful candidate will have extensive groundworks, kerbing, drainage, and plant experience.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise a high-quality groundworks team to ensure all jobs are completed to a high standard.
- Work closely with the contract managers and team to ensure all works are completed on time.
- Be a team player and get involved with the groundworks team when required.
- Attend meetings with the client and be responsible for ordering materials for site requirements.
- Be required to complete all Health & Safety paperwork ensuring the site team follow and maintain health and safety requirements.
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate would have experience working as a Working Foreman on Housing Civil’s projects.
Essential Qualifications/ experience required/ specific requirements for the role:
- Be an experienced groundworker with a proven track record of high-quality workmanship.
- Must have Civils & Housing experience.
- Must hold a CSCS card (Supervisor card Advantage, but not essential)
- CPCS or NPORS Excavator 360 or 180 card (Advantage but not essential)
- CPCS or NPORS Dumper Driver (Advantage but not essential)
- CPCS or NPORS Telehandler (Advantage but not essential)
- Must have valid SSSTS/SMSTS Certification
- Must hold full driving licence
