We’re looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Blue Collar Construction team at ITS Building People in Southampton, specialising in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) recruitment.

🔹 The Role
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you’ll manage and grow your own M&E desk, specialising in temporary and contract placements across roles such as electricians, plumbers, mechanical mates, pipefitters etc.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- Generating new business opportunities through outbound sales calls, networking, and client visits.
- Attracting skilled candidates through advertising, social media, and proactive resourcing.
- Working with a dedicated Resourcer to deliver quality placements efficiently.
- Meeting and exceeding sales and performance targets.
🔹 What We’re Looking For
We’re after someone who is:
- Energetic, driven, and ambitious.
- Experienced in recruitment (3+ years) – ideally within construction, M&E, or technical sectors.
- A natural relationship-builder with strong communication and sales skills.
- Motivated to grow their desk and progress quickly.
- A driver with a full UK licence (essential).
