The role & about the client:
On behalf of our client, ITS Building People are searching for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an award winning, dynamic, and forward-thinking groundworks Contractor based in Hampshire & the South coast. Due to sustained and continuous growth as well as an order book stretching well past 2030, they are looking to add to their management team. The successful candidate will have extensive groundwork’s, civil’s, 278 works, piling, concrete & housing experience.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for groundwork’s projects. • Conduct site measurements and assessments. • Monitor project progress and financial performance. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors. • Manage contracts and negotiate with suppliers. • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant experience. • Proven experience in groundwork’s quantity surveying. • Strong analytical and negotiation skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. • Proficient in relevant software and too

• Degree Qualified or Equivalent.
• 1st
• CSCS card.
• Asbestos awareness.
