Plumber Multi-Trader

Social Housing Bathroom Fitter

Location: Sherborne

Pay: £18 – £25 per hour (CIS or PAYE with holiday)

What you need to bring to the role as the successful applicant to the

We are working with a reputable and growing housing association delivering high-quality planned installations across Somerset and North Dorset. Due to recent contract wins, they are expanding their in-house team and are now looking for a skilled Plumber Multi-Trader to join their -based team, delivering bathroom and wet room installations on a planned works programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering full bathroom and wet room installations across tenanted and void social housing properties
  • Undertaking planned plumbing installations and remedials as part of a scheduled upgrade programme
  • Supporting with multi-trade tasks including:
    • Wall splash back tiling
    • Carpentry
    • Patch plastering and making good
    • Painting and decorating to a professional standard
  • Working in occupied properties with consideration for residents and their homes
  • Maintaining excellent customer service and representing the company to a high standard.
  • Recording works via PDA system including labour and materials used
  • Ensuring all work complies with health and safety protocols and is completed to time and quality KPIs

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a qualified plumber or time-served with strong plumbing skills.
  • Ability to carry out additional multi-trade duties to a high standard (tiling, carpentry, patch plastering, decorating)
  • Experience working within the social housing sector, particularly on planned maintenance or refurbishment contracts
  • Full UK driving licence – essential (company van and fuel card provided)
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualifications/time-served)
  • Competent using PDA systems and able to follow job instructions electronically
  • Strong customer service approach and tidy work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and manage own workload across dispersed sites
  • Knowledge of SOR codes and planned maintenance delivery standards (desirable)

Package & Benefits

Pay: £18 – £25 per hour (depending on experience and contract method – CIS or PAYE)Van and fuel card provided for work use

Working hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday

Temp contract (3 months)
