The role & about the client:
 
On behalf of our client, ITS Construction Professionals South are recruiting for a Foreman/ Sub Agent to join a reputable contractor. This client is a leading civils contractor in the Kent and East Sussex region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating short term and long term construction programs
• Coordinate with engineers, planners and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with the program
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary
• Oversee daily site operations for the works
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations 
• Manage site logistics (deliveries, access, waste removal etc)
• Ensure works are carried out to specification, drawing and standard 
• Maintain quality control records and NCRs
• Liaise with the foreman, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers 
• Attend daily or weekly coordination meetings 
• Enforce safe systems of work and risk assessments 
• Participate in and lead toolbox talks and site inductions 
• Assist with measurements of work for valuations and variations 
• Monitor use of materials, labour and equipment against budget
• Maintain accurate site records (daily diaries, progress photos, reports)
• Maintain daily site diary/ logs
• Report labour, plant and material usage
• Not delays or changes in working conditions

The ideal candidate will have/be:

• Relevant tickets- SMSTS., First Aid and CSCS 
• Experience working on groundworks, drainage and 278 works 
• Strong communication and site leadership skills 
• Proven experience working as a Foreman/ Sub Agent
