Electrical Operations Supervisor
ITS Property Maintenance is recruiting this role on behalf of a regional Housing Association, who have a mixture of old and new housing stock spread along the M3 Corridor. As Electrical Operations Supervisor, you’ll manage all electrical works across thew client’s housing stock, ensuring compliance, safety, and quality at every stage. You’ll also lead a team of electricians with support from technical staff to deliver reactive repairs, planned works, full rewires, inspection & testing programmes and supporting heating programmes
Position good to knows
- Lead your team in delivering electrical installations, repairs, rewires, heating works, and inspection/testing, striving for first-time fixes and cost-effective delivery
- Act as a Qualified Supervisor (NICEIC/NAPIT), reviewing, validating, and signing off all electrical certificates and reports
- Manage performance by tracking track progress, budgets, KPIs and flag escalations as necessary
- Safeguard compliance through accurate record-keeping, equipment checks, adherence to BS7671, CDM, PPE, and health & safety standards
- Support and deliver service excellence by promptly resolving customer feedback, collaborating with tenants and internal teams
- Conduct team development by monitoring performance, coaching staff, organising training and cover out-of-hours support
- Deputise for the Senior Electrical Operations Manager when required
What you need to bring to the role as the successful applicant to the
- Proven experience in a supervisory or operations supervisor role within social housing or property maintenance
- Recognised certification as an Electrical Qualified Supervisor (NICEIC or NAPIT)
- Holds or has held City & Guilds qualifications (2391, 2360/2351/2330 or NVQ Level 3) and 2394/2395 inspection/testing quals
- Strong practical knowledge of BS7671, inspection, testing, and commissioning
- Clean UK driving licence, a company vehicle will be provided to support site visits
- Excellent organisation, communication, and customer service skills
- Self-motivated under pressure and committed to continuous improvement
Hours and pay
- Up to £50,000 basic salary
