Job description:

Domestic Electricians required ongoing residential projects. ITS Building people are looking for an experienced and hardworking Domestic Electrician to assist our client with a project based in Uckfield, East Sussex. The role will involve carrying out a variety of electrical installation, maintenance, and testing work in domestic properties. Own transport required.

This contract will be Monday to Friday and there may be an option to work overtime.

Daily responsibilities will include:

• Installing electrical systems in residential properties
• Fault finding and troubleshooting electrical issues
• Installing sockets, lighting, switches, and consumer units
• Carrying out rewires (full & partial)
• Testing and inspecting electrical systems
• Ensuring all work is completed to current electrical regulations and safety standards

Requirements for the role:

• ECS or CSCS Card preferred
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• Experience working on domestic properties
• Own tools and PPE
• References upon request
• You should have your own high vis jacket or vest, gloves and hard hat. These can be provided by ITS Building People for a small fee.

Training/Progression opportunities:

• There may be opportunities to acquire additional qualifications with this role on Health and Safety, machinery and traffic management

*Rates of Pay:

• Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted.
