The role & about the client:
On behalf of our client, ITS Construction Professionals South are recruiting for a Document Controller or administrator to join a reputable regional construction company based in Reading. The right candidate must have BREEAM experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Controlling company and project documentation
- Following and improving document control procedures
- Ensuring all documentation meets formal requirements and required standards
- Sorting, storing and retrieving electronic and hard copy documents on behalf of clients and industry professionals
- Producing document progress reports for senior managers
- Conducting regular reviews and document audits
- Using computers to organise and distribute documents within a company
- Helping in the planning stages of a specific project
- Ensure documents are shared at key times to facilitate timely project completion
- Working in an office.
The ideal candidate must have/be:
- BREEAM Experience
- Strong negotiation skills;
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to relate complex information in a simple way to a diverse range of people;
- Strong numeracy and financial management skills;
- Commercial awareness;
- A clear understanding of HSE building regulations and all relevant legal requirements;
- Software knowledge in Outlook, Excel and Word.
