Assistant Site Manager
South Coast
£45,000 – £50,000+ Package

We’re working with a dynamic, design-led residential developer delivering high-quality, characterful homes across the South Coast. With a strong secured pipeline and continued growth, they’re looking to appoint an ambitious Assistant Site Manager who wants more than just a job — someone looking for genuine progression.
This is a business where people are developed, not micromanaged. If you’re driven, capable and ready to step up, there is a clear pathway to Site Manager and beyond.
The Role
Supporting the Site Manager, you’ll be heavily involved in the day-to-day running of site operations, gaining hands-on exposure across the full build lifecycle.
You will:

  • Assist in managing subcontractors and direct labour on site
  • Maintain high standards of health & safety and quality control
  • Coordinate trades to drive programme and productivity
  • Support inspections, snagging, and handover processes
  • Deliver toolbox talks and manage inductions
  • Oversee materials, logistics, and site organisation
  • Maintain site documentation and reporting

You won’t just be shadowing — you’ll be given real responsibility and the opportunity to grow into running your own site.
About You

  • Experience as an Assistant Site Manager, Finishing Foreman, or Senior Supervisor within residential construction
  • Solid understanding of NHBC standards and building regulations
  • Ambitious and keen to progress into a Site Manager role
  • Strong communicator with a proactive, solutions-led mindset
  • SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS and First Aid

Why Apply?

  • Clear, structured progression to Site Manager
  • Exposure to high-quality, design-led residential projects
  • Support from experienced leadership
  • Growing business where performance is recognised
  • Competitive salary and benefits

If you’re looking for a role where you’ll be trusted, stretched, and supported to progress your career — this is a genuine opportunity to step forward.
