Overview

A leading data centre delivery specialist is seeking to appoint a Senior Project Manager – Electrical to support its expanding data centre portfolio across the UK and Europe.

This organisation is committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions for mission-critical facilities, and is looking for an experienced professional to take responsibility for the electrical elements of large-scale projects from inception to completion—ensuring quality, safety, and programme certainty.

The Role

• Lead and manage project teams, ensuring full compliance with quality, environmental, and health & safety standards
• Provide expert technical guidance to support operational excellence
• Coordinate and oversee on-site construction activities to ensure progress aligns with programme
• Develop and agree the electrical submission and approval process with clients and design teams
• Support overall project planning and scheduling
• Attend site meetings and provide clear communication and progress reporting
• Chair and minute subcontractor meetings
• Track, record, and report key metrics to stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement through reviewing procedures, best practices, and operational initiatives

• Experience working for a main contractor or large subcontractor
• Strong people management experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams
• Proven technical knowledge of electrical services
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Client-focused communicator with strong interpersonal skills
• High attention to health & safety considerations
• Commercially astute
• Experience within the data centre sector (desirable)
• Degree or equivalent qualification in an electrical discipline (desirable)
