Job Title: Construction Plant Fitter
Area Coverage: Hampshire/Dorset #
Salary: £40k to £45k

On behalf of a leading Hampshire-based Groundworks Firm, ITS are currently seeking an experienced Construction Plant Fitter to join their team team and play a key role in maintaining, servicing, and repairing a range of plant equipment used across our construction projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on construction plant and machinery
• Diagnose faults and conduct mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs
• Conduct inspections and ensure all equipment complies with safety regulations
• Respond to on-site breakdowns and carry out effective repairs
• Maintain service records and work reports accurately
• Work closely with site teams to ensure minimal downtime on equipment

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Plant Fitter or similar role within construction or heavy equipment industries
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrics
• NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Plant Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
