On Sunday 18th March, ITS Aylesbury Director Clive East is running the Reading Half Marathon for charity BIBS (Babies In Buscot Support).
In 2013 Clives son was born three weeks early and was cared for by the nurses in Buscot Ward at RBH. Then in 2015 his daughter was born six weeks early weighing a tiny 4lb 13oz and spent a week being cared for in Buscot ward by the same amazing nurses.
As a small, local charity BIBS is hugely reliant on the income raised by the incredible runners they call “Team BIBS”. In 2018 they need Team BIBS to collectively raise at least £40k to contribute to the £80k cost of 2 new incubators.
The charity is run by parents that have had a baby spend time on Buscot Ward, meaning they care deeply and know first-hand the difference they are making. Every penny raised can help save tiny lives, and support families when they need it most.
